What do you think about the ending? Personally, I think Protoboy wasn't destroyed. Every one of Moshimo's robots deactivate when they are damaged, and Proto didn't even go back to normal mode so I believe he was perfectly fine. Also they are very resistant to explosions so I don't think it affected him in any way.

I think that episode meant to take place just before Season 5 Episode 1. It felt like something else was meant to happen, like the show was about to do something big, like a sequel series, or a spin-off, or even a movie as rumored in the past, and then it suddenly got cancelled.

Yes, I agree. There are a few pictures/wallpapers with "s05" in the top left corner. Now back on topic, what do you think that happenned to Protoboy in that episode? I think he was just fine and flew away just a second after Robotboy and just before everything exploded.

I think the person, or robot who keeps repairing Protoboy picked him up after Robotboy left? It's safe to say the robot mechnic could possibly be female; I mean, one episode, Protoboy did say "Hey, dear... Yes, dear... No, dear..." and so on... She picked up Protoboy and drove/flew off to fix him for another day. I hoped it to have been Protogirl or a human female villain, like Kalashnikov.

Maybe it's not a person. Remember how Robotboy repaired himself in the Human fist on ice episode and The Old Switcharobot episode? They are built to fix themselves.

Also in the Bambibot episode.

True, in terms of the shows standards, but in terms of the story arcs, that would practically leave out Protoboy's mysterious wife (although it might have been just a gag the writers threw in for spontaneous comedy). Also, how would Protoboy reactivate himself after the Revenge of Protoboy episode anyway? Only Robotman could do that.

It could have been her who repaired him, but I still think it was just a gag. And about the Revenge of Protoboy episode, maybe something triggered reactivation (like in S01E07b Roughing It), perhaps en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electric_eel
